QUESTION: I just bought myself a small truck to pick up my stores from the importing warehouse instead of paying a fortune to a distributor, that was costing me triple. Trouble is I need some sort of trolley to help me load and unload the truck. Loading is no pressure, but what is the best way for me to unload goods from my truck into my storage area at the back of my metro business without getting into trouble with city traffic?
ANSWER: The best way is to buy a push trolley or wheeled cart depending on the packaging. If there are quite a few medium sized boxes a push trolley is probably best as they are quick and strong and very manouverable. A wheeled cart can be loaded up like a shopping trolley with small packages, but is not so quick and flexible. There are many fine hand trucks and push trolleys available, even fold up compact push trolleys; it just depends on your needs.

QUESTION: How can I transport a printer when flying to another country?
ANSWER: I would pack it well and book it through, and pack a portable compact luggage trolley in your carryon bag so that when you pick it up you can just open up your trolley, strap your printer package to the trolley (as well as other items) and wheel your way out to your waiting transport.

QUESTION: I have A visitor from overseas with her baby coming to London via Heathrow then changing to a domestic flight. I am worried that she will be carrying suitcases and other luggage. I have no idea how is she going to handle all the luggage through customs and so forth whilst holding her baby at the same time. Does anyone have any suggestions?
ANSWER: Ideally, if she were to use baggage with a built-in wheeled trolley and handle that must come partway to helping with the struggle. Also for smaller baby nursing items, a compact luggage trolley packed away in her bag can be retrieved and set up so that all the smaller items can be strapped to it and wheeled around with a little more ease, and also can be accessed fairly readily. It’s certainly a lot better than having to struggle and juggle all those small items, as well as the baby.

QUESTION: When I fly to and from the US, I change planes, and want to know if I can carry a luggage trolley as carryone instead of booking it through with my other luggage because I use it a lot at airports to carry other bags & suitcases.
ANSWER:If it’s a compact luggage trolley that can be folded down and up as needed, it should be ok, and often can be carried inside hand luggage. I would prefer to be sure than sorry, however, and ask the airline, even if you have to measure it in it’s most compact form and provide the airline with the trolley’s dimensions.

QUESTION: I am going overseas on holidays for 4 weeks. Should I take my big suitcase and half packed, or just my small luggage fully packed and take it with me?
ANSWER: It doesn’t hurt to leave space because you will fill it in on the way back, and it will cost less by weight going over. Also luggage can be very heavy for you to cart around from place to place, so a compact luggage trolley can be a handy thing to pack. It folds up and fits in your bag, and helps you in a big way when you are trying to cart around lots of luggage. It’s a portable wheeled cart to strap your suitcase to so you can pull it along. I would keep it minimal on the way over.
